How Licenses Work
A license is tied to the tax year it was purchased for. For example:
- A 2024 license allows you to prepare multiple 2024 returns. It can also be used to activate previous versions of StudioTax (e.g., StudioTax 2023, 2022, etc.).
- In 2025, you will need a new license to prepare 2025 returns. Your 2024 license will no longer be valid for the new version.
