StudioTax is available for Windows, Mac, and mobile devices. Follow the instructions below for your platform.

Windows

1. Go to studiotax.com/downloadwindows.html .
2. Download the StudioTax installer. The file is named StudioTax[year]Install.exe — for example, StudioTax2025Install.exe for the 2025 version.
3. Double-click the installer file and follow the on-screen wizard to complete the installation.

Mac

1. Go to studiotax.com/macdownload.html .
2. Download the .dmg file. The file is named StudioTaxForMac[year].dmg — for example, StudioTaxForMac2025.dmg for the 2025 version.
3. Double-click the .dmg file — this will open a .pkg file.
4. Double-click the .pkg file to start the installation and follow the prompts.

Once installed, you can open StudioTax through Finder or Launchpad.

Note: StudioTax for Mac is available in English only and does not support Quebec provincial returns.

Mobile (Android, iOS, and iPad)

StudioTax is available on both major mobile platforms:

• Android: Search for StudioTax on the Google Play Store  and tap Install.
• iOS / iPad: Search for StudioTax on the App Store  and tap Get.
